PLC S7 1200 is brand new of middle class of Siemens PLC, with compact design but more wide range application. This PLC has new class range between S7 200 and S7 300. New design of PLC and also Siemens made dedicated Operating Panel for this type of PLC. TIA Portal V10.5 is one platform for programming PLC and also for programming a panel. One software covered all needs. This software supports PLC S7 1211C, S7 1212C, and S7 1214C. And also operating panel KTP400Mono 4″ , KTP600 Mono / PN 6″ , KTP1000 PN 10″, and KTP1500 PN 15″ . This software has better graphical interface than Step 7 5.5 and easy to understand even you are new to this software. This TIA Portal made all setting, everything we do to build a project done in one window. Compare to Step 7 5.5 many windows to make a project, hardware configuration, communication setting, programming language, simatic manager, variable table, cross reference, etc. And TIA portal wanna make all simple. This packet TIA portal consist of Step7 Basic 10.5 and WinCC Basic 10.5.
